Soil stabilisation companies

Traditionally, soil stabilisation is implemented to improve the soil so that it has a bearing strength with a minimum compressive strength of 1Nmm2. To realise this soil improvement, lime or special binders were traditionally used. GeoCrete® is an innovative solution for soil stabilisation. This mineral additive improves the properties of cement-based stabilisation. It helps achieve high elasticity and a high compressive strength. With the design parameters from the preliminary research, the total structure can be optimised and the costs reduced.

Properties of GeoCrete®

The properties of GeoCrete® combine the features of traditional stabilisation, soil improvement, stabilised sand and the properties of concrete. By using the available soil, and recycled materials and concrete if necessary, fewer raw materials are necessary. The advantage is that the energy costs during construction and reuse are much lower than with traditional methods.

GeoCrete® for soil stabilisation companies

This soil improvement and soil stabilisation technology enables soil stabilisation companies to expand their activities with new applications and to become involved earlier in projects with a wide range of applications for roads, paved surfaces and dykes. Besides surface stabilisation, other methods for stabilisation are also possible.

Applications

  • dirt roads and rural roads
  • foundations under asphalt roads
  • road widening
  • roads, cycle paths and maintenance roads around dykes,
  • foundations for temporary buildings (event sites) or permanent buildings
  • natural paved surfaces such as roads to wind turbines and plot paths
  • temporary crane positions
  • industrial sites, including optimisation of the structure and subsidence prevention
  • creation of foundation plateaus using the available soil
  • solutions for failure mechanisms on dykes
  • paved surfaces and structures that bear heavy loads, such as container terminals, lorry parks

Advantages

  • faster
  • reduces costs
  • no soil displacement necessary
  • less primary raw materials necessary
  • better force distribution
  • less nuisance and CO2
  • reusable
