The costs for unpaved roads are high as well, and dirt roads often cause a public nuisance. Among other things, due to dust and holes in the road surface. Secondary roads and road widening Another smart use of the cement additive GeoCrete® involves widening roads or creating foundations under roads. The soil does not have to be removed and the road is only closed for a very short time. Existing used materials can be included in the process. During road widening projects, a stable retention of the road and a foundation for concrete elements can be created. One example of this is a rumble strip with open grass concrete blocks. The higher elasticity improves the force distribution. This prevents damage under roads, on the sides of roads and in structures.
